Welcome to the Davenport Reunion Blog Site

Here will be where we will be posting information about the reunion. We sent out a info email telling you some brief information about the event. We also need email contact information on 25 family members. And of course any event is not possible without a request for volunteers.
So incase you missed it. Here is the information again.


Twenty one years ago we all met for a reunion and it is time to do it again. So check your calendar and plan to attend with your family. So who is the family you ask..... It all started with Gordon and Hilda Davenport who had ten children and you are all related to one of those ten children. (Dorothy, Wini, Bob, Ed, Glenn, Gordon, Bill, Betty, Shirley, and Marilyn).

Date: Memorial Day Weekend 2008
May 23 Friday/Saturday May 24 Arrival
May 24 Saturday Golf Tournament/Craft Event/or free time
Family Dinner
May 25 Sunday Family Brunch
Educational Programs (Genealogy and ??)
Games
Family Banquet
May 26 Monday Depart

Location: Embassy Suites, Vancouver, Washington (Tentative)
All events (excluding golf) are within walking distance.
Rooms will be reserved with the hotel directly more info coming in November.

**NOTE- We are looking for a location that has cooking facilities, central location(near airport and services that you walk too) and rooms that can be individually reserved. If you have any suggestions please email us.

Cost: $50 (approx) registration fee per family (includes Family History Book)
Rooms will be $140 -160 / night plus taxes
Golf Tournament/Craft Event/Banquet will all be additional (more info in January)
