Don't forget these important items for the Reunion

9 days and counting til our Reunion!!
We want to remind you about some things you may want to bring from home. We will be having a Memorialbilia Table to display things that were passed down from Hilda and Gordon. If you were the lucky recipient and want to display your item, let us know when you check in at the Reunion Hospitality Area.
So here is our suggested things to bring:
Memorialbilia item(s)
Golf Clubs (if you signed up to golf)
Tea Cup (if you signed up for the High Tea)
Snacks (we will have some, but more is welcome)
Beverages/Alcohol (we will only have bottled water available)
Bathing Suit (weather permiting for our outdoor pool)
Camera
$$$ for Golf: $55; Banquet $16/Adult& $6/child under 12) Cash ONLY please
Lunch for Saturday (the hotel serves breakfast for Saturday & Monday)

Remember Hotel Check in time is 3pm and Check out is Noon.

Directions to the Davenport Family Reunion

Our reunion is just 12 days away at the Residence Inn my Marriott.
It is located on SR 500 accessed from I-5 or 1- 205 just minutes from the Portland Airport and across the street from Westfield Vancouver Mall.

Off I-205 look for the SR-500 exit (Thurston Way 0r Westfield Mall)
Head North on Thurston way (towards the mall). Turn Left(west) at the next light on to Parkway Drive (the mall was on the right at the light). The Residence Inn is up 1/4 mile on the left.
Check in time is 3pm.
Look for our Hospitality Suite Signs in the Lobby.
We can't wait to see you there.

Last chance to send us your family photos and recipes

Our deadline was May 1 for your photos and recipes. But you NOW have 24more hours to send them to us in a word or jpg file. They will be off for publication by Friday, May 9. We are not sure how we can get this all done in time... so if you want to help us with a few projects give Cary Lynn a call.
Don't forget to bring your golf clubs and tea cups to the reunion if you have signed up for those events. We will see you all 18 more days!!

Just finished copying family photos

In preperation for the reunion, we asked family members to send us photos. We have only got one so far, but we have received lots of older photos to scan from Ginny and Gail (thanks so much ladies). This will make for a really fun Saturday Evening Program. It makes us all thankful for the photo reminders of back in the day. So remember to send us a photo of your immediate family today. If you have any old Davenport family photos, give us a call. See you all in 62 days!

Are you coming to the Reunion?

We had hoped to have a bit more response from all of you attending. We only have 7 families committented to attend the Reunion, May 23-26, in Vancouver, Washington. Please considered emailing us or sending in your Response Card TODAY. We have lots of financial decisions to be made and no budget to make them with. Call us if you have any questions. We really appreciate you help.

What do we mean by send us your family recipes?

We want everyone to take part in this FAMILY reunion. We are busy gathering recipes that you might remember from a family event. One that comes to mind are Grandma's (Hilda) Sugar Cookies, or Aunt Wini's Peanut Brittle. What great memories we have of that kitchen in Spokane. So go through your personal recipes and share some of your own family favorites with us. We would love to have every family represented with a few delicious recipes. We would appreciate them typed in word format and sent to our email address. If this is a problem, just contact us. DEADLINE IS APRIL 1.

We need a picture of your family.

We would love to present a slide show at the reunion and we need photographs of all the Davenport families. Please send a print or a jpg file to the contact information included in your Reunion brochure. We want to make sure every family is part of this special event. Deadline is May 1 please.
